There are several steps that are needed to be able to become a computer engineer. First of all, you need to have a strong background in Mathematics and Science. These are the two most basic skills you will need. You will also need to have a High School diploma, or its equivalant . You will also need to take up computer science, computer programming, computer engineering, computer information systems, and electrical engineering in CEGEP or College. If you take CEGEP in Quebec, you will also need to take up the Natural Science, Applied Science, Math, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. You will need a bachelor's degree in all of these fields in order to have a prayer of finding a job as a computer engineer in the future. The average weight is 139 credits.

There are several ways to train to be a computer engineer. You can either a) tamper around with codes (using your education), create programs, and apps. You can also take apart and re-make a technological device, such as a computer or a radio. Taking courses will also help you hone your skills in your applied fields. The number of years you spent doing your job also has an effect on your quality of work.
